Peanut butter cake

This is a peanut butter cake I made by frosting a yellow cake with peanut butter cream cheese. I've written about the yellow cake, adapted from a wonderful recipe I found in Dr William Davis's 'Wheat Belly Cookbook'

Chocolate peanut butter cups

One of my favourite chocolate treats is Reese's peanut butter cups. When I got a big tub of peanut butter made with 100% peanuts, I could finally make my own peanut butter chocolate cups.

Nutty peanut butter cookies

I had a craving for peanut butter the other day and it didn't go away. Then I remembered I bought a jar of Meridian natural peanut butter a while ago and it was still sitting in the cupboard. The recipe I'm using here is straightforward and easier than a piece of cake (wink wink). Because Meridian has stopped using palm oil in their products, the natural oils from the nuts will separate in the jar. Storing the jar lid-side down allows the oils to distribute evenly throughout the jar.

Peanut butter & banana popsicles

We've been experiencing an unusually warm summer for the last few weeks. At the start of the heat wave, I tried my hands at making popsicles. I even managed to find moulds at TK Maxx to pour the batter in (even if I think they are meant for making ice pops for kids).
