Malaysian chicken curry
After a couple weeks of sun and warmth, a glimpse of spring, the temperature dropped to a cool 7°C during the day and as low as 0°C at night. What better, then, than to have a steamy bowl of rice with hearty curry for dinner?

Broccoli, potato & cheddar soup
It has got a bit chillier here and after spending the weekend out and about in the wind and rain getting looking at properties and kitchen and bathroom showrooms, I felt the need for some hearty soup to nourish my body and soul.

Pan seared salmon fillet with hasselback potato

Poulet en cocotte, encore une fois
This is my second time making this chicken in a pot. I made a few changes from the last time, and it totally paid off in taste.

Good Friday dinner: mackerel
As Husband is a semi-practising Catholic, even though he's not a fish fan, I remembered to pick up some mackerel and sea bass this week in anticipation of dinner on Good Friday.

Leek, celeriac & potato soup
Celeriac seems to be very 'in' with the contestants on MasterChef: The Professionals have been using it left and right for the last two seasons. The stumpy vegetable has never appealed to me in the produce aisle, but last week, I decided to get one.
